This Mid-Summer issue is short and crisp, but the articles are none-the-less interesting. I hope you agree.
In this issue you can find the following articles:
Have you also had a season of really weird ‘weather’ antics? There are, in many places across the globe, very unusual changes of weather. Big fluctuations in temperatures, and weather phenomena that commonly belong into another season are creating stress for the bodily system of not only in the old, but many younger people as well. I hear from many, of troubling symptoms such as exhaustion, headache, dizziness, cardio-vascular symptoms, mood swings, heavy limbs and associated complaints such as difficulty concentrating or sleeping.
I have found the Schüssler salts very useful for such climate related complaints. The Schüssler salts may help invigorate the body, and may assist at generating more resistance to climatic variation.
* Calcium phosphoricum: Builds resistance and strength to atmospheric tension and the associated ups and downs.
* Ferrum phosphoricum: Is indicated where fatigue, exhaustion and lack of the ability to concentrate are prevalent.
* Kalium phosphoricum: Is the Schüssler salt for cardio-vascular symptoms, moodiness and irritability.
* Magnesium phosphoricum: This is the neuro- and muscular- salt. It acts on the heavy limbs and the common restlessness, and insomnia.
For the ‘heavy limbs’ that may develop in particular during these times, often associated with varicose veins, the following remedies may be helpful:
Aesculus is indicated if the legs are heavy and tired, and the skin on the legs feels tense, and swollen. The veins may appear knobbly, but are not necessarily painful.
Hamamelis is indicated if there is a sensitivity to touch, and discomfort from pressure and warmth. These varicose veins are very painful. There is a prevailing feeling of exhaustion in the legs and the veins shine through the skin, in a dark bluish colour.
I hope, if you are someone experiencing such symptoms as described above, that the mentioned remedies may be useful to you.
The next issue will go live on October 1st. The features topic is ‘Miscellaneous’..so any topic around health, well-being, and homeopathy is welcome. Get in touch if you would like to get your case, article, story or report published.
Enjoy the holidays!
