A word from the Editor – Complementary Approaches
Dear Readers,
Welcome to the Summer Issue 2016!
Have you ever tried Kneippism?
On the outskirts of the village I grew up in, just before you enter into the forest, there is a narrow water basin, perhaps 3m by 1.5m in size, and only about 40cm deep. An odd little pool I thought in my youth, with a rail down its middle, and only such a narrow water level.
Well, of course this is no pool, in the general sense, it is one designed for hydrotherapy, more specifically for water-treading, one application of the therapy with water following the concept developed by Father Sebastian Kneipp. One of the articles in this issue on ‘Complementary approaches’, takes a look at ‘Kneippism’.
Jiri Cehovsky introduces auto-therapy, and Tracy Jones gives an insight into ‘Reiki’. Shivambu, another complementary approach, albeit not necessarily for everyone, but by all means for some, is featured in another article, and Rebecca Liston enlightens us on 3 things to do in order to boost our income in the ‘Building Practice’ feature.
Have a read, perhaps you´ll find these approaches interesting!
The subsequent issue is a ‘miscellaneous’ one. Any topic surrounding well-being, health, or general food for thought may be featured in this issue.
The next issue then, pics up on the topic ‘Building Practice’, with a close up on topics like marketing, promoting and creating a client base. Deadline is the 1st of July!
I hope you enjoy this issue!
Have a lovely summer!
